Personal Training Client Agreement – Policies, Terms and Conditions
By investing and participating in Personal Training, you are fast tracking your results and I have faith that by working together we can get results. However, it does take two to get results. Success requires a level of personal commitment from you as well. Teaming up with a personal trainer is not simply an option to transfer personal responsibility for your health onto someone else.
The most important factor in improving health, fitness and achieving results is consistency. Training regularly and turning up for each session is just as important as the quality of the workout. Personal training guarantees you will receive quality instruction and professional service. Our training session is valuable and I ask that you respect this by giving me notice of 72 hours prior to any designated session if you are going to be unable to attend.
Payment should be set up on a weekly standing order which allows for up to 4 weeks holiday a year for client and trainer. If holiday periods coincide, this may result in only 4 missed sessions. During any period that you are absent, you can be set workouts to keep on track with your goals. Should you wish to terminate your contract, you may do so by providing three weeks written notice.
Your standing order must be kept going if you want to keep your training place. You’re paying for the accountability throughout the week and the years’ worth of invested knowledge and help to get to your goals (rather than simply for each session).
Injury Rehabilitation Policy
I understand that there are times that you may not be able to participate in the session due to an injury; but this does not mean you should not train at all. As long as you give me 42 hours’ notice, I can plan an alternative session for you, taking into consideration your injury. It is important to keep the momentum going!
As with any professional business, I am not happy unless you are. If for some reason you are not happy with my service can you please let me know, so I can endeavour to provide you with the highest quality of service and rectify any problems.
I understand that certain elements of personal training can be physically demanding. As a condition of my enrolment I accept full and complete responsibility for my own participation in the sessions and for my physical and emotional wellbeing and the attainment of the goals I/we have established.
This means I acknowledge Get Body Confident’s recommendations and that I obtain a doctors approval of my participation in this program. I agree to hold Get Body Confident free and harmless of any and all liability for any death, subsequent injury or health complication that may result from or be aggravated by my participation in this program.
I understand that I must notify Get Body Confident at least 72 hours in advance of any changes I wish to make to my training timetable, as failure to do so may result in the session still being charged.
I understand that there is no flexibility of timetable with 1:2 and 1:3 training sessions and I will therefore be charged on occasions that I cannot make them.
